IDF Magach 3 w/ERA

This kit includes parts to assemble a Magach 3 equipped with explosive reactive armor (ERA). Real-world combat showed Israeli tanks' vulnerability to anti-tank guided missiles and RPG-7s, prompting Rafael to develop the Blazer ERA. This first-generation ERA added roughly a ton to the Magach 3's weight. This 1/35 scale kit, based on the existing Magach 3, features modifications to represent an IDF version with ERA, giving the tank a fresh, appealing look. The kit accurately replicates ERA blocks on the hull and turret, and includes new parts like a machine gun with ammunition box and a new commander's cupola. It also offers a variety of photo-etched parts and one-piece tracks for convenience, with the 105mm main gun's weatherproof mantlet cover made from DS for realism. This kit provides an incredibly detailed and fascinating look at the Israeli Magach 3 tank.
