The LS-100D is equipped with a digital display, enabling secure and precise control of height and vertical line alignment as needed. It features a specially wide beam-receiving sensor that also filters out disruptive light impulses from strobe sources. Large, bright LCD displays (front and rear) provide 9 channels of slope information and digitally display the distance to the working line (on-grade). Pressing the 'Hold' button 'freezes' the display, allowing users to easily read the results. For added versatility, three colored LED indicators and a powerful magnetic mount are integrated for vertical operation – ideal for steel construction mounting or operator leveling checks during concrete pouring. To help monitor the Topcon rotating laser, warning icons are displayed on the LCD screen when the instrument is moved (** **HI warning) or when the laser battery is nearly depleted.
