This retaining ring applies better pressure consistently around the wheel. The ring has a single tab and allows you to use flat faced wheels with 90 degree, 5/8" tapered cone lug nuts. For use with hub piloted wheels with 5/8" studs. Commonly used when mounting dual wheels, the retaining ring sits outside of the wheels (see pictures). Torque Specifications for 16" Duals and 17.5" Single Steel Wheels - 190-210 ft. lbs.
- Tension ring interchangeable with Dexter part # 033-052-01 (33-52-1).
- 5/8"-18 Hex coned wheel nuts interchangeable with Dexter part # 6-109.
- Fits on axles with 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern and 5/8" Studs
- Works on Dexter, Lippert, and Alko axles.
